'Mountain Time', an incredibly BEAUTIFUL song by Joe Bonamassa, is preceded here by the PERFECT companion piece to set the mood ....... 'India' ....... Dramatic, romantic, smooth AND rockin' ....... just like the man himself.
In my estimation, this particular combination of songs nears perfection..... it offers everything - exquisite notes, emotional phrasing, and a tenderness and sweetness that is all wrapped up with an incredibly passionate ribbon of raw INTENSITY and ENERGY. Wow.
Yet another gem from the brilliant mind and the gifted hands of Joe Bonamassa, THE WORLD'S BEST BLUES ROCK GUITARIST!!! He is supported by three of my favorite musicians (and people), Mr. Carmine Rojas, on bass, Mr. Rick Melick on keyboards, and Mr. Bogie Bowles on drums. WHAT a BAND!!!!
'India' was written by Joe Bonamassa and Rick Melick. 'Mountain Time' was written by Joe Bonamassa and Will Jennings. The magnificent guitar shown here is a Rossington Les Paul (by Gibson) - apparently a very limited edition guitar - only about 200 of these beauties were ever made.
I shot this video on September 18, 2008 at Brixton South Bay in Redondo Beach, CA. Please forgive the slight hitch at about 8 min.,11 sec. - my camera, as it likes to do, stopped recording mid-song and I had to splice it together as best I could. I think my camera KNOWS that it's a STILL camera and revolts against shooting TOO much video! I would ask that you be kind. I'm trying!! This is only the second video I've posted. I hope you ENJOY!!!!!
