Myanmar (formerly Burma) was the chosen place by many Indian and Ceylonese for business, banking and agriculture. Chettiar community played a significant role in the banking sector and major money lenders to the people of Burma. The Chettiar community is laso know for their devotion to Thandayuthapani and built temples for him in many sount-east asian cities. In Burma, they built over 50 temples and now except one all the temples are managed by the local Tamils, around the country. This video shows the Indoor Murugan Temple in the second floor of a muti-storey residential cum business building. They name Lord Murugan after the location as "Aararai )si rooms) Murugan. This video shows the visit to the indoor tmple built by Burma teak with beautifully painted woodcarving.
